Diamond Ceramic OPAQUE Printed Glass

Ceramic printed glass combines the benefits of glass with durable opaque color. Clear float glass is HEAT STRENGTHENED, with colored ceramic frit fire-fused to its interior surface, and is opaque when viewed from the exterior. It can also be used as an opacifier when applied to the fourth surface of an insulating glass unit.

Available in a broad palate of standard colors of Blue, White, Green, Gray, Black, Red, Yellow as well as custom colors.

DIAMOND ceramic printed glass never requires expensive refinishing.

Diamond Ceramic PATTERN Printed Glass

The ability to silk screen a pattern onto architectural glass opens an entirely new dimension for designers. DIAMOND pattern glass is created by screening and permanently fusing a ceramic frit coating onto the interior glass surface in a nearly-unlimited range of colors and patterns.This process creates a dramatic new look in glass, while still permitting viewing through the glass from either side.

In terms of daylight transmittance, DIAMOND pattern glass essentially reduces transmittance by approximately the same amount as the glass area covered by the coating. Lighter colors act as a daylight diffuser. The coating also reflects and absorbs some solar energy.

Variety of Printings and Patterns

Ceramic frit printings are available in custom colors, as well as the following standard color: Blue, White, Green, Gray, Black, Red, and Yellow. These printings can be applied to clear and tinted glass, as well as in combination with SOLARSAVE coatings. Use of tinted glass may affect the final color. Viewing of full-size mockup is strongly recommended prior to final glass selection. DIAMOND glass can be screened with virtually any custom design. In addition, to custom patterns, DIAMOND ceramic-pattern printed glass is available in the four standard patterns as illustrated below.
