TEMPERSAFE
TEMPERED SAFETY GLASS

TEMPERSAFE is produced by heating annealed glass until it reaches a thermal softened level and subsequent quenching by uniform blast of air.

By this process, it obtains 4 - 5 times high loading stress and, therefore, is stronger than normal glass.

Due to this tempering process, TEMPERSAFE can be made into thinner annealed glass in the same applications.

It can be produced up to 7.50 metres of length.

A High Quality Standard Product

Due to its greater strength, TEMPERSAFE is more resistant to breakage caused by rapid temperature changes (thermal shock).

TEMPERSAFE is specially designed for applications requiring additional safety and higher strength.

When an accident occurs, TEMPERSAFE breaks into small pieces which are not sharp like normal glass.

Consequently, TEMPERSAFE helps reduce the risk of serious injury.

Recommendations for TEMPERSAFE

As TEMPERSAFE is thermally pre-stressed, hole drilling, grinding, cutting, and shaping must be done before the tempering process. Therefore please clearly specify all details concerning size, holes and edging style when ordering.
